Your Role

As a Lead Product Strategist, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, offering numerous opportunities to influence our teams, clients, and the organization. You will integrate core principles of product ownership from Agile frameworks with a comprehensive product strategy and account management methodology, drawing on your technical knowledge. Your expertise will enable you to identify client needs, convert business requirements into actionable tasks for our development teams, and work alongside a diverse group of designers, strategists, developers, and testers to realize the client's vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture strong, trusting relationships with key client stakeholders, positioning yourself as a reliable advisor.
  • Lead discussions with clients regarding product vision and user requirements.
  • Gather requirements and manage complex backlogs that encompass multiple platforms.
  • Ensure a shared understanding of product requirements among all stakeholders.
  • Develop a strategic product roadmap that balances business value, technical feasibility, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Facilitate discussions on scope management and feature prioritization.
  • Collaborate with product designers to craft exceptional user experiences that are both feasible and technically sound.
  • Conduct or assist in workshops focused on client journey mapping and user story mapping.
  • Engage in technical discussions with engineers to define system architecture and data flows for feature development.
  • Utilize analytics and metrics to inform decision-making and refine product strategies.
  • Analyze data to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for product enhancement and improved user experiences.
  • Document technical dependencies and API requirements.
  • Contribute to the promotion of best practices, skills development, and process enhancements.
  • Mentor fellow Product Leads, whether informally or formally.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the software development sector in roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, or Technical Business Analyst.
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements across various platforms: iOS, Android, Web, and Backend technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the unique capabilities of iOS, Android, Web, and TV platforms.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and their application in product development for enhanced inclusivity.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse roles and technical backgrounds.
  • Experience in shaping product vision, go-to-market strategies, and UI/UX discussions.
  • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies and comprehend platform-specific risks.
  • Proficient in documentation and technical writing, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and flow diagrams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of product development processes from concept to launch, including frontend and backend technologies.
  • Proven experience in facilitating scrum ceremonies to ensure successful software development cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the initiation of new features and designs, ensuring efficient project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strong intuition for user experience and the ability to empathize with users of your product.
  • Experience as a mentor and leader who fosters an inclusive environment for idea sharing.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience in an agency or consulting environment with a diverse range of clients and industries.
  • Understanding of the capabilities across iOS, Android, Web, and TV platforms.
  • Experience in product research and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX platforms and design thinking methodologies.
  • Certification as a ScrumMaster and/or Scrum Product Owner.
