Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling waste and recycling materials to disposal sites and recycling plants.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering trash and recycling removal services to customers.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling containers, as well as climbing in and out of the truck.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and records.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers, communicating effectively and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • At least 19 years of age and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • No DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the waste industry, a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
