Job Title: IDT Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary:

The IDT Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and quality assurance within our interdisciplinary team. This position requires a strong understanding of PACE program regulations and CMS guidelines, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure IDT compliance with PACE program regulations and CMS guidelines.
  • Monitor regulatory adherence within the interdisciplinary team and provide reports on compliance activities.
  • Actively participate in Quality Improvement (QI) processes and collaborate with the Quality Director on policy & workflow development, chart audits, performance improvement plans/identified compliance issues, and data collection for quality reports.
  • Assist with the preparation and follow-up for internal and external audits.
  • Facilitate IDT meetings by ensuring compliance-based discussions and documentation.
  • Provide training and support to the IDT members on compliance-related topics.
  • Facilitate discussions and QI projects related to system utilization and performance.
  • Track and manage service requests, care planning, hospitalizations, and other participant care activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support the IDT in coordinating 24-hour care delivery and facilitate effective team relationships.
  • EMR administrator/superuser.
  • Encounter Data Management: Serve on the encounter data task force, educate IDT members, and coordinate with staff and the State of Michigan to ensure accurate data capture.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or related human services degree, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant coursework or certifications in healthcare compliance &/or gerontology is highly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare, administrative, or compliance-related role (experience with PACE, long-term care, or managed care programs preferred).
  • Experience in care coordination or healthcare compliance is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations (experience with CMS guidelines and PACE regulations is a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and electronic health record systems.
