Job Summary

Job Title: Retail Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Coordinator to join our team. As a Retail Coordinator, you will be responsible for the successful retail/cafeteria operation of Food Service. This includes obtaining or receiving merchandise, totaling bills, accepting payment, and making changes for customers in the retail store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock shelves, counters, and tables with merchandise.
  • Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
  • Stamp, mark, or tag prices on merchandise.
  • Obtain merchandise requested by customers or receive merchandise selected by customers.
  • Answer customers' questions about location, price, and use of merchandise.
  • Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Wrap and bag merchandise.
  • Total merchandise price and tax to determine final bill amount.
  • Accept payment and make change.
  • Remove and record amount of cash in register at end of shift.
  • Keep record of sales, prepare inventory, and order merchandise.
  • Comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one to three years of retail operational foodservice management experience preferred.
  • Retail marketing experience is preferred.
  • Experience with cash retail operations.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • Associates degree is preferred.
