We are seeking a dedicated individual to ensure the safety and security of a distribution center client in the Lebanon, TN area as an unarmed security professional. Your role will involve maintaining a visible presence to deter any unlawful or inappropriate behavior. The primary goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report to your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility and maintain assigned posts, serving as a general security presence and a visible deterrent to crime and rule violations.
  • Identify and investigate suspicious activities, monitoring for any criminal acts or violations that may pose a risk to the property, clients, or employees.
  • Oversee and document the movement of incoming and outgoing property.
  • Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures.
  • Document all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies promptly.
  • Verify identification badges.
  • Respond to emergencies, including medical situations and bomb threats, as well as alarms such as fire and intrusion, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Review post orders and daily logs, adhering to instructions provided.
  • Work independently in a one-person assignment without direct supervision.
  • Guide trucks to designated areas when operations are not in progress.
  • Prepare post logs, incident reports, and shift summaries.
  • Answer phone calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate extensions.
  • Communicate with area supervision as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a security officer or in a related field.
  • Trained security officer with a valid security license in the state of Tennessee.
  • Strong understanding of public safety and security protocols.
  • Attention to detail and surveillance skills.
  • Exemplary integrity and professionalism.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
