Job Title: CDL Class A Shuttle Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Shuttle Driver to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for transporting empty trailers to our warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. This is a critical role in our food supply chain, and we need someone with excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

* Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer, according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
* Inspect the tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed
* Report all safety issues and/or repairs required
* Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
* Drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedule
* Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines
* Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas
* Ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured

Requirements:

* 6 months commercial driving experience
* High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent
* Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement
* Must be 21 years of age
* Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
* Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
* Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
* Pass road test
* Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card

Working Conditions:

* Work required 3rd shift schedule, Sunday-Thursday nights (schedules may vary)
* Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
