Gastroenterology Specialist

UTMB Health is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team. As an Associate Professor of Medicine, you will be responsible for building a state-of-the-art Gastroenterology practice at Specialty Care Clinic at Victory Lakes and Clear Lake Campus or other locations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive Gastroenterology practice, working closely with the Director of the Division.
- Specialize in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), both clinically and through outcomes-based research.
- Conduct 3 1⁄2 day clinic sessions and one full day of endoscopy per week.
- Participate in teaching endeavors and other activities as deemed necessary by the Division Director.
- MD degree or equivalent, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship programs.
- Experience in Irritable Bowel Disease.
