Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Supervise resources and activities associated with the project
  • Ensure adherence to standards and regulations
  • Review and assist in the preparation of project documentation
  • Prepare bid documents and assess proposals
  • Provide support to junior Project Engineers
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Fundamental understanding of related engineering disciplines
  • Familiarity with industry developments
  • Comprehension of NYPA's operational interactions
  • Strong skills in presentation and negotiation
  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
  • At least 4 years of technical or engineering experience
  • Certifications such as EIT and PMP are advantageous
Physical Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%
  • Ability to enter confined spaces and scale power system structures
  • Readiness to visit vendor locations for construction activities
