PlayOn Sports is seeking a People Analytics Specialist to transform human resource data into actionable insights.

Our ideal candidate merges the analytical skills of a Business Intelligence Specialist with the inquisitiveness and empathy of a psychologist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your Role in the Team


Data Integration:

  • Collaborate with the HR team to gather data and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of personnel information across various platforms.
  • Validate and cross-check all HR-related data from diverse sources to uncover inconsistencies and trends (e.g., leadership effectiveness).
Insight Generation:

  • Produce precise, comprehensive, and user-friendly insights for a range of audiences, including HR operations, management, and board members.
  • Develop quarterly talent health reports and dashboards to support ongoing decision-making and coaching initiatives (from engagement strategies to performance evaluations).
Change Management:

  • Identify effective methods to foster accountability and assess the success of initiatives with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Oversee the HRIS system and lead the assessment and integration of new software and tools, starting with performance management and organizational KPI tracking.

Qualifications:
Skills and Experience Required


Experimental Design:
Proficient in formulating hypotheses and collecting data to validate them with minimal disruption to operations.

Data Analysis:

Skilled in cleaning, transforming, and manipulating large datasets to derive meaningful insights from both qualitative and quantitative data using tools like Excel and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).

Communication and Presentation:
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for data initiatives. Capable of conveying data-driven insights to various stakeholders in a clear and comprehensible manner.

Resilience and Adaptability:
Ability to manage ambiguity while ensuring data integrity during growth phases. A strong sense of ownership and accountability with a readiness to engage in hands-on work.

Reporting and Visualization:

Experience in creating user-friendly dashboards and reports that illustrate HR metrics and trends using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

HR Knowledge:

Solid understanding of HRIS systems and HR processes, practices, and metrics such as employee turnover rates, retention, and recruitment metrics.


  • Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field
