Med Surg Float Pool Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Float Pool team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop a plan of care to meet the patient's needs and goals.
- Implement and evaluate care, making revisions as necessary to ensure effective treatment.
- Consult and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and revise the plan of care.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
- Delegate work appropriately to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice.
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care, as well as education materials to patients and families on care and treatments.
- Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team.
- 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
