Job Overview

Position: Preventative Maintenance Technician

Company: Sohn Linen Service Inc.

Sohn Linen is currently in search of a committed and meticulous individual to fill the role of Preventative Maintenance Technician. This position is essential for ensuring that our machinery and facilities function at peak efficiency, thereby averting potential disruptions and facilitating a seamless operational flow.

Work Schedule: Second shift: Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm.
**Initial training will occur during first shift.**

Key Duties:

  • Conduct regular assessments and upkeep of machinery and equipment to avert malfunctions.
  • Diagnose issues to determine underlying causes and apply effective remedies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize and resolve maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Keep comprehensive records of maintenance tasks and equipment performance metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial machinery is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude towards maintenance responsibilities.
