Job Overview

As a Senior Blood Collection Team Manager with the American Red Cross, you will play a crucial role in leading our blood collection team to deliver exceptional donor experiences. This position requires strong leadership and customer service skills to drive results and serve others with respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise blood collection staff, including training and performance evaluation
  • Drive for results and serve others with a high level of respect for customer service
  • Build personal connections with donors, listen to their stories, and help them understand the value of their donation
  • Contribute to a friendly and fun environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure repeat business from donors
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience (four to eight years) in a related field
  2. Minimum two years of supervisory/leadership experience
  3. Strong customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills
  4. Ability to work a variable schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional overnight travel required

Compensation
