Construction Plumbing Foreman

At THE BLUE COLLAR RECRUITER, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Plumbing Foreman to oversee plumbing installations and ensure the efficient progress of projects within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance projects from inception to completion, coordinating with project managers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Direct and supervise a team of plumbers and apprentices, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure plumbing installations comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards, addressing any issues promptly to maintain quality craftsmanship.
  • Oversee the procurement and inventory management of plumbing materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of required items.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site to maintain a secure working environment, conducting safety meetings, inspections, and audits to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients, to discuss project requirements, schedules, and progress updates, communicating effectively with team members to delegate tasks and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in commercial or residential plumbing with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Valid plumbing license and certifications as required by state regulations, knowledge of local building codes and ordinances.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, hands-on experience with various plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, ability to motivate and mentor team members to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information and instructions to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to promoting and maintaining a culture of safety on construction sites, familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
