Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to assist in the execution of game-day operations at Salt River Fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Guest Services and Production staff to ensure seamless game-day operations.
  • Support the hiring, scheduling, and training of Guest Services Agents.
  • Oversee and manage a team of Guest Services personnel on game days.
  • Contribute to event execution and support other departments as needed.
  • Ensure guest needs are met and address any concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a high-energy environment.
  • Public speaking experience is a plus.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing/walking for extended periods.
Schedule and Time Commitment

35-40 hours per week, including some weekends, with limited evening shifts.

Qualifications
  • Junior or Senior actively pursuing a degree, or a Postgraduate with a degree.
  • Wanting to pursue a career in sport/event management.
  • Ability to work weekends, particularly during spring training.
  • Guest services experience is preferred.
Work Environment

Salt River Fields is a dynamic venue where you will gain hands-on experience across multiple departments.

Hiring Process
  • Interviews will take place in November, with selected candidates hired in December.
  • The start date for this position is January 6th.
  • This is a paid internship.
