As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and organization for Engineering, Maintenance, MRO, and Quality to maximize production volume while achieving cost targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capital Budget Management: Manage the capital budget and develop the technical talent in the group.
  • Facilities and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure plant facilities and production equipment are properly maintained.
  • Capital Budget Development: Manage the plant capital budget and work with plant technical and operations resources to identify capital deployment opportunities.
  • Engineering Support: Provide engineering support and resources to sustain plant production.
  • Communication and Implementation: Coordinate communication and implementation of manufacturing and technical initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Manage budget, which includes technical group salaries, building and grounds, maintenance materials, and utilities.
  • Cross-Functional Teams: Develop strong cross-functional teams to allow for synergy across technical and operations groups.
  • Employee Management: Responsible for hiring, salary administration, performance management, including disciplinary actions, employee development, and salary administration.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area and immediately address and report safety issues or hazards.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience in a manufacturing environment and engineering field, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
  • Leadership and Management Experience: At least five (5) years of leadership and management experience.
  • Skills: Interpersonal skills, effective leadership skills, effective communication skills, written and verbal, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, strategic planning, negotiation skills, ability to make sound decisions based on objective data, able to manage multiple tasks, able to prioritize work, detailed-oriented, organized, and proficient computer knowledge.
Working Conditions
  • Availability: Must be available on an on-call basis.
Education

High School Diploma or GED; BA/BS degree preferred in engineering.
