We are seeking a highly skilled GEOINT Systems Engineer to join our team at Apogee Integration. As a key member of our Government Acquisition Office, you will be responsible for acquiring and developing ground systems for current and future national assets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects for systems teams, working closely with clients and supporting contractors to ensure successful system and mission strategy development.
- Maintain daily interaction with customers and supporting contractors, adhering to customer standards and processes as the program matures through its life cycle.
- Interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and facilitate risk and action closure with Acquisition Offices and users, supporting technical consultation, meeting coordination, and recommendation briefings.
- Strong understanding of the Intelligence Community and customer domain, with a focus on core systems engineering processes.
- 10 to 12 years of experience with a BS/BA, 8 to 10 years with an MS/MA, or 5 to 7 years with a PhD.
- Knowledge of GEOINT remote sensing systems and overall space and ground architecture, including mission control and/or mission processing functions.
- Integration and closure experience within the overall customer domain.
- Detailed knowledge of customer mission capabilities (including GEOINT and Multi-INT domains) and overall space and ground architecture.
- Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment.
- Experience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternatives.
- Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPS development, and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering.
- Commitment to recognizing, understanding, respecting, and operating effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.
- Familiarity with overall GEOINT ground customer, technical familiarity with mission control and/or processing of one or more GEOINT systems, including sensor knowledge.
- Knowledge of and experience executing SAFe Agile methodology.
- ATR experience beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work for specific IC customer and familiarity with that customer's processes and organization.
