Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Manager

About the Role:
The DLP Services team is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our staff. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our buildings.

About the Job:
As a Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily final cleaning inside of buildings as instructed. This will include tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, window washing (inside only), and cleaning office furniture and lighting fixtures.

Main Responsibilities:
• Dust and clean all areas of the building.
• Mop floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Vacuum carpets to keep them clean and free of debris.
• Clean restrooms and restock paper and soap supplies to ensure a comfortable and hygienic space for employees and visitors.
• Empty trash receptacles and bags of trash for proper disposal to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Lock doors after cleaning areas to ensure security and safety.
• Lead, guide, and/or train custodians in applicable procedures and techniques to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies to promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities team.
• Be available to work on Saturdays as needed to ensure that the facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have knowledge of custodial practices, machinery, and related equipment. You must also be able to understand verbal instructions and operate vacuums and other related equipment. Additionally, you will need to be able to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies, and have the ability to lead and train others. Physical demands of the job include standing and walking for prolonged periods of time, stepping, stooping, crawling, climbing, lifting, bending, kneeling, pulling, and pushing while performing job duties such as heavy physical work. The estimated salary for this position is $15.00 per hour, based on the location of San Antonio, TX.
