Electrical Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team at SAFEbuilt. As an Electrical Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that electrical systems and installations meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform field inspections of electrical systems and installations to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Examine plans and specifications to ensure that electrical systems and installations meet code requirements.
  • Report any violations or non-compliance issues to management and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections and findings.
Requirements:
  • State of Michigan Act 407 license in the category of Electrical inspector.
  • Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures/technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management, organization, and attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
