Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team at SAFEbuilt. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting field inspections during various stages of construction, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field inspections to verify compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Examine plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Report any violations or discrepancies and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with contractors, builders, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of local building codes and regulations
  • Ability to interpret codes and provide compliant solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • State of Michigan Act 407 license in the category of Electrical inspector
  • ICC Certifications
  • Experience in municipal code inspections
