Radiology Supervisor Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Supervisor Coordinator to join our team at Vibra Healthcare.

Job Summary

The Radiology Supervisor Coordinator will be responsible for directing, planning, and monitoring clinical and technical operations, functions, and resources of the Radiology department. This includes troubleshooting and operating radiology equipment to ensure operational efficiency, maintaining performance improvement activities within the department, and participating in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the daily operations of the Radiology department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Vibra Healthcare's quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • Current, valid, and active license/certification to practice as a Radiology Technician in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • One (1) year of previous experience in radiologic services and/or supervisory experience preferred.
  • State-specific certifications as required.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
