About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Surgery Care Affiliates. As a Radiology Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with formulating medical diagnoses by performing radiological/x-ray procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct radiology exams and document results for interpretive physicians and records.
  • Ensure operational excellence and quality of care in the diagnostic and surgical department.
  • Facilitate reading of films by radiologists in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Maintain general condition of radiology equipment and utilize radiation monitoring devices at all times.
  • Perform proper radiation safety precautions and periodically check and coordinate independent inspection of department radiation protection devices.
Requirements
  • Required certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) or applicable state licensure.
  • BLS required and CEU credits maintained.
  • Graduated from an accredited school of Radiology Technology and one to two years of radiological/x-ray experience preferred.
