Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex RF/microwave systems and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RF/microwave systems and products using advanced simulation tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF/microwave systems with other components and subsystems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RF/microwave technology and apply this knowledge to improve existing designs and develop new products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 10 years of professional-level engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated record of successful RF/microwave design and development.
  • Expertise with microwave test equipment and circuit simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain a secret clearance and ability to obtain at least an interim secret security clearance before starting the position.
Desired Skills
  • Experience leading successful technical projects.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 14 years of directly relevant experience.
  • Design experience with microwave products operating above 20 GHz.
  • Expertise with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
  • Expertise with microelectronics assembly techniques.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Environment
