About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Eli's Restaurant Group. As a key member of our back-of-house team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, including the dishwashing area, storage, and trash disposal.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of food preparation areas, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep stations.
  • Participate in deep cleaning of back-of-house areas, including the dishroom, storage, and trash disposal.
  • Assist with general cleanliness of the back of house and restrooms, including emptying garbage and keeping areas clean and covered.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Maintain a pace sufficient to prevent back-up of dirty dishes, glasses, etc.
  • Return and restock all items to appropriate areas after washing and sanitizing procedures are completed.
  • Ability to read a thermometer.
  • Maintain dishwashing machinery and communicate any potential issues to management.
  • Identify cleaning supplies and notify management when running low.
  • Assist with general cleanliness of the back of house and restrooms.
  • Empty garbage (checking for restaurant supplies) and keep garbage areas clean and covered.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Get along well with others and be a team player.
Physical Demands

The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
