Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team at MasTec Industrial. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instruments, equipment, and control circuits in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including mid to low-voltage equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using logic controllers and schematics.
  • Calibrate and maintain vision inspection systems and other electrical devices.
  • Conduct field service checks to commission, repair, and maintain electrical systems in remote locations.
  • Utilize AutoCAD or Bluebeam to create and review electrical schematics.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, OEM, or client reps to resolve complex electrical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain records of all electrical inventories and place orders for spare parts and equipment.
  • Maintain a log of electrical repair and maintenance works.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
Requirements
  • 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • NCCER Certification/License (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations.
  • Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards.
  • Physical stamina to perform hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
