Job Summary
Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Technician to join our team. As an Emergency Department Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the clinical aspects of patient care with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the clinical aspects of patient care with the healthcare team.
- Provide care to the age-specific population assigned.
- Meet the minimum education and experience requirements.
Requirements
- Current Georgia Basic EMT Certification or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Registry/Intermediate Level certification.
- 2 years of patient care tech and/or Emergency Room Tech experience in lieu of EMT license.
- Current BLS CPR Card.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in an Emergency Department.
