Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Demolition Laborer to join our team at Perpetual Labor Sourcing. As a Demolition Laborer, you will be responsible for executing various demolition tasks, including manual labor, site preparation, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Demolition Work: Perform manual demolition tasks such as dismantling structures, removing fixtures, and breaking down materials using hand tools and power equipment.
  2. Site Preparation: Assist in preparing demolition sites by securing safety barriers, removing obstacles, and implementing safety measures.
  3. Material Handling: Safely handle and dispose of demolition debris, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  4. Tool Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery effectively and safely.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other demolition team members, contractors, and project managers to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
  6. Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  7. Waste Management: Segregate and dispose of waste materials responsibly, following proper waste management practices.
  8. Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Prior experience in construction or demolition work is advantageous but not required. Willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
  3. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working in various weather conditions.
  4. Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  5. Team Player: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  6. Reliability: Punctuality and dependability in fulfilling work assignments and responsibilities.
  7. Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus but not mandatory.
