Responsibilities
  • Design and draft comprehensive plumbing and fire sprinkler systems using Vectorworks and AutoCAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other designers to develop and optimize system designs.
  • Conduct detailed calculations to ensure systems meet all necessary codes and regulations.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from project managers and clients.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during system installation and operation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously improve the quality of your designs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing and fire sprinkler system design.
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks and AutoCAD software.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, plumbing design, and fire sprinkler systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
  • A degree in Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
