Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist

As a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with procedures that evaluate, diagnose, and treat conditions related to the cardiovascular system.
Key Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your primary duties will include:
- Preparing patients for procedures by reviewing medical histories and ensuring their comfort.
- Interpreting and reporting test results while identifying any discrepancies or errors.
- Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly addressing any abnormalities.
- Maintaining and preparing equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are functioning correctly.
- Upholding a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Performing point-of-care testing in accordance with established protocols.
- Adhering to safety standards and procedures throughout your work.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or completion of a Cath Lab certification program.
- No prior experience is necessary; we welcome new talent.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires:
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision and hearing for effective communication and monitoring.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment safely.
Work Schedule:
This position is primarily day shift, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
