Job Overview

DIRECT HIRE: SST Direct is seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician with expertise in electric vehicle (EV) charger installations.

This role includes comprehensive benefits such as paid time off, medical and dental coverage, a 401k plan, a company vehicle, and a gas card.

The compensation for this position ranges from $38 to $45 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations regarding electrical installations.
  • Execute both residential and commercial Level 2 EV charger installations.
  • Oversee site visits for installations and manage inspections.
  • Procure and organize necessary supplies and equipment for installations.
  • Manage vehicle inventory to ensure a professional installation process and enhance overall work efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in installing Level 2 EV chargers.
  • Effective communication skills with both customers and team members.
  • Strong understanding of national and regional electrical codes.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
