Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Principal, this role is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of students during school breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2. Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.

3. Strong communication skills with children and parents.

4. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

5. Demonstrate sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with students, parents, and school staff.

6. Maintain a professional appearance.

7. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and ensure the safety of students and staff on campus, encouraging adherence to school policies.

2. Maintain effective communication with school administration and staff.

3. Document and manage disciplinary referrals.

4. Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.

5. This position requires prolonged periods of walking and standing, potentially outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
*Graduation from high school or equivalent

Knowledge of:
Adolescent interests, attitudes, and emotional growth.
Strategies for motivating students and managing behavior.

Ability to:
Learn fundamental techniques for crisis intervention, crowd management, traffic oversight, and conflict resolution.
Identify issues that may affect student welfare and implement suitable solutions.
Foster positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Work independently when required.
Comprehend and execute oral and written instructions.
