Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Principal, this position is responsible for ensuring student safety and well-being during school recesses. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assist students during school recesses, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Learn and apply basic techniques of crisis intervention, crowd control, traffic control, and conflict resolution.
  • Recognize and address problems that may interfere with student welfare, implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of adolescent development, motivation techniques, and behavior management strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
