Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Professional to join our team at Elevance Health. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and providing a consultative sales approach to Large Groups.
About the Role
- Achieve new business targets for all lines of business through advanced execution of sales processes.
- Cultivate deep trust-based relationships and develop comprehensive understandings of client needs and priorities.
- Act as a consultative collaborative partner with brokers, consultants, and key decision makers.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to address broker/client needs.
- Conduct broker, agency, client education on pertinent topics and anticipate potential client needs related to these topics.
- Coordinate with internal partners to meet and exceed client expectations, driving opportunities for additional growth and product sales.
- Ability to learn and have a solid understanding of the industry and products at the local, state, and federal level; continuously update knowledge in a rapidly changing environment.
- With limited supervision and guidance, provide a consultative sales approach to Large Groups, which is in line with client and company objectives.
Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 4 years of sales experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Sales license required.
Preferred Experience, Capabilities and Skills
- Experience with office tools, cloud-based software, social media & collaboration tools strongly preferred.
- Experience in Large Group insurance preferred.
- Experience working for a TPA preferred.

Work Environment
Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
