Personal Injury Lawyer

Slater & Zurz, LLP is actively seeking a skilled, driven, and results-oriented personal injury lawyer to enhance our legal team. The successful candidate will possess the capability to manage a substantial caseload of both pre-litigation and litigated matters while effectively advocating for our clients' interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and develop assigned personal injury cases, which includes conducting pre-suit investigations, negotiating settlements, resolving liens, drafting legal documents, engaging in motion practice, performing legal research and writing, managing discovery, attending court conferences and hearings, and litigating cases through to verdict.
  • Collaborate with and provide support to various teams within the firm.
  • Maintain effective communication and foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Supervise and guide support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Ohio.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, preferably in personal injury law, insurance defense, or claims handling.
  • Exceptional research, writing, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with NEOS/Needles case management software is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively and contribute positively to the firm's objectives.
