Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist Level II to join our team in Nashotah, Wisconsin. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, communicating with patients, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, pain clinic, GI lab, urology, and c-arm procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
  • Identify patients, label images, and process images to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, work independently, and provide technical support to staff.
  • Prepare and maintain records, enter patient information into the radiology information system, and document billing codes.
  • Act as a resource and preceptor for students and staff, facilitating clinical problem-solving and collaboration with other departments.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced training beyond high school in radiologic technology.
  • 2 years of experience in a radiologic technologist role.
