About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Associate II to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the patient experience by providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process patient arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.
  • Obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for procedures, verifying insurance and patient demographic information.
  • Support the delivery of the Jefferson Experience by providing prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors.
  • Process check-in and check-out activities, scheduling patient appointments via EPIC, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Escalate patient and provider concerns as necessary, adhering to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
