Our facility offers private resident rooms, with accommodations available for couples when necessary.
This part-time nursing position includes:
- An additional $2.50/hr for night shifts and $1.25/hr for weekends
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Scheduled for 2 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays
Role Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers professional nursing care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting, under the guidance of a registered nurse or physician. You will demonstrate a solid understanding of nursing principles relevant to the clinical environment and ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Documenting resident interactions and care outcomes
- Collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals
- Providing education and counseling to residents and their families
Qualifications
To qualify, candidates must be graduates of an accredited practical nursing program and hold an unencumbered LPN license. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, and additional certifications may be required based on specific services.
