IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Resolve software and hardware problems for users in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform minor repairs to computers, printers, and scanners
- Assist with software installation and maintenance of PC, printers, RF equipment, and thermal printers
- Maintain a hardware and software inventory/support for computers, monitors, printers, scanners, copiers, and fax machines
- Provide Help Desk support to end-users
- Perform installation of desktop application software and hardware, maintain databases, and modify existing ones
- Develop spreadsheets and reports as requested
- Maintain software licenses and contracts
- Assist in securing internal network and facility (networking and surveillance)
- Assess and periodically review the effectiveness of current operating systems
- Make suggestions for improvements and/or the need for new hardware or software
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with laptop or desktop diagnosis and repair knowledge and Ethernet networking
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Degree preferred (Business, Accounting, or related field) or in lieu of degree, 3 (three) years of direct inventory and inventory process management (automated and manual inventory systems)
- Power Equipment certification and the ability to maintain license through safe operation of equipment
