Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at Aerospace Composites Solutions, Inc. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining a professional data-driven work environment, ensuring compliance with company policy and accounting and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounts payable process, including processing invoices and maintaining a detailed and organized folder structure within Outlook for backup and audit purposes.
  • Reconcile company credit cards monthly, matching transactions with receipts or purchase orders, and inputting to Epicor.
  • Assist in cycle counts and year-end inventory as needed.
  • Prepare journal entries by accruing expenses, adjusting prepaid balances, and reconciling accounts.
  • Develop and maintain accounting procedures, analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Requirements
  • Team mentality, purpose-driven, innovative, compassionate, proactive, and a forward thinker.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with others, and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks on tight timelines.
  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Epicor preferred but not required.
  • Experience of 2-3 years with increasing responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field preferred.
