Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Architect specializing in Generative AI and Large Language Models to enhance Credera's Data capability group.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a role that involves leading project teams in a client-facing capacity, focusing on the analysis of extensive data sets to extract insights through machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing a variety of tools and programming techniques for data preparation and analysis.
  • Building, implementing, and running simulations of models.
  • Overseeing the deployment of enterprise-scale models in production environments, ensuring adherence to best practices across cloud and on-premises solutions.

As the primary architect and technical lead, you will be responsible for scoping and estimating work streams, designing technical solutions to meet business needs, and serving as a technical authority in client discussions.

Daily Activities:
Engagement in design sessions, environment provisioning, and mentoring junior team members on various projects.


Qualifications:
8+ years of substantial experience in the architecture, design, and execution of large-scale AI/ML solutions, including hands-on statistical modeling and analytical experience in industry or consulting settings.
Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field (PhD preferred).
Proficient in various ML and AI techniques, including but not limited to multivariate/logistic regression, cluster analysis, predictive modeling, neural networks, deep learning, pricing models, decision trees, and ensemble methods.
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers for model development and experimentation.
Strong grasp of NLP fundamentals, including tokenization, word embeddings, language modeling, sequence labeling, and text generation.
Experience with data processing using LangChain, data embedding with LLMs, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).
Experience in designing and presenting compelling insights using visualization tools (RShiny, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
A passion for leadership and providing mentorship, both formal and informal.
Proficient in wrangling, exploring, transforming, and analyzing datasets of varying sizes and complexities.
Knowledgeable about tools and processes for monitoring model performance and data quality, including model tuning experience.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients at both business and technical levels.
Stay updated with AI/ML trends and research; be a thought leader in the AI domain.
Experience implementing machine learning models in production environments through one or more cloud platforms.
