Responsibilities- Organize and oversee unit activities and staff assignments
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and adhere to established nursing standards
- Identify and respond to patient needs in a timely and appropriate manner
- Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses
- Administer medications and treatments as needed
- Communicate with team members, residents, and medical staff
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and vendors
- Perform RN assessments and lead emergency situations
- Maintain accurate nursing reports and staffing sheets
- Current and good standing RN License in the State of New York
- Experience with geriatric and short-term rehabilitation patients is desirable
- Progressive nursing experience and supervisory experience preferred
- Dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care to each resident
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
