As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently processing transactions. Your responsibilities will include managing customer orders with accuracy and courtesy, as well as maintaining the organization of the store's various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exhibit a friendly and positive demeanor towards customers and team members.
  2. Engage customers with warm greetings, provide product information, and offer helpful suggestions.
  3. Ensure swift and friendly service at the checkout.
  4. Process transactions accurately, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards, and various payment methods.
  5. Monitor product pricing and signage, ensuring proper placement and use of shelf tags.
  6. Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
  7. Assist in ordering and stocking products across various departments, ensuring quality and safety.
  8. Support the maintenance of merchandise displays throughout the store.
  9. Bag customer purchases according to company guidelines, ensuring proper weight distribution and environmental considerations.
  10. Provide prompt and courteous service, concluding transactions with appreciation and an offer for further assistance.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with customers and team members.
  • Capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize checkout equipment and store policies.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
