Position Overview

Tact Staff is currently seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in the Emergency Department (ED) for an exciting opportunity. This role involves providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will engage in direct patient care, demonstrating proficient clinical skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients through triage, obtaining vital signs, and gathering medical histories.
  • Initiating immediate care in emergencies when a physician is unavailable.
  • Providing care for both critically ill and stable patients.
  • Performing a variety of nursing procedures and assisting physicians as needed.
  • Offering emotional and physical support to patients and their families.
  • Delivering discharge instructions and follow-up care guidance.
  • Managing ambulance communications and directing pre-hospital care.

Facility Requirements

Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible for this position.

Submission Criteria
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Completion of a skills checklist pertinent to the specialty.
  • Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years.
  • Current Michigan RN license and certifications (BLS, ACLS).
  • Permanent address verification is required.
