Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming clients and their pets, creating a comfortable and calming environment.
  • Providing precise and dedicated client service, ensuring seamless communication and follow-through.
  • Emergency triage over the phone and in person, prioritizing client needs and providing compassionate support.
  • Client check-in and record management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Client check-out, working with clients on payment options and providing clear explanations.
  • Handling difficult conversations with empathy and respect, addressing client concerns and needs.
  • Anticipating client needs, providing information and support, and promoting a positive experience.
  • General clean-up of lobby, exam rooms, and entrance area, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assisting clients through challenging times, such as euthanasias, with compassion and sensitivity.
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year's experience in a client-focused role in a veterinary practice.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in client interactions.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a positive and productive manner, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions, prioritizing client needs and safety.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within veterinary medicine, embracing ongoing education and professional development.
  • Strong desire to provide exceptional service, exceeding client expectations and promoting a positive experience.
