About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Railcar Transport Specialist to join our team at Marmon Holdings, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization that values innovation, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating locomotives to transport material and spot rail cars utilizing instructions from a switch list. They will also regularly operate locomotives in a congested area and must use considerable caution to prevent damage to rail cars or accidents to employees.

Responsibilities
  • Operate locomotive to transport material and spot rail cars using instructions from a switch list.
  • Regularly operate locomotive in a congested area, requiring considerable caution to prevent damage to rail cars or accidents to employees.
  • Operate switches and direct flow of cars in rail yard.
  • Maintain area in a neat and orderly manner and report work hazards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both as a member of a team and independently.
  • Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable and reliable, with a willingness to work scheduled shifts, including overtime.
  • Valid driver's license with no more than three violations within the last three years.
