About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Nurse Preceptor to join our team at CenterWell Home Health. As a Nurse Preceptor, you will play a vital role in providing practical clinical experience and guidance to our field clinicians, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to new clinicians during their orientation process
  • Ensure compliance with applicable licensure/certification requirements, healthcare standards, governmental laws and regulations, and CenterWell Home Health policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with clinicians to review clinical documentation and forms, and provide feedback and coaching as needed
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with Orientees to assess their understanding and progress
  • Meet with Managers – Clinical Practice (MCPs) on a weekly basis to discuss progress and provide updates
  • Conduct 60-day supervisory visits for Orientees and discuss results with MCPs
  • Participate in teaching/training of paraprofessional healthcare staff as assigned, and act as a resource to other healthcare personnel
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct in relation to confidential information
Requirements
  • Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with one year experience in area of specialty/desired practice
  • Current unrestricted licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) to which assigned and current CPR certification required
  • Good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to function with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
