We are seeking a skilled Chemical Production Specialist to join our team at Essity. In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of Hydrofera brand of wound care products.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture of foam necessary in the production of various wound care products within current company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to good manufacturing/documentation practices and/or relevant ISO/regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all relevant quality paperwork is completed, including work orders and cleaning logs.
- Comply with OSHA safety and health rules and establish a safety-first mindset.
- The orderly storage of work in progress, including proper identification of lot designation and product status.
- Maintain facility and production area cleanliness.
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding improvements to methods and procedures in assigned areas.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Comfortable with wearing full-face respirator during shift.
- Requires ability to perform general math computations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings.
- Requires ability to take initiative to solve problems.
- Ability to lift to approximately 60 lbs and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shift with appropriate rest and meal breaks.
