Job Opportunity: Ambulance Paramedic

Day County, SD is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulance Paramedic to join our team. As a critical member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and responding to medical emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' conditions and administer appropriate medical treatment
  • Transport patients to medical facilities safely and quickly
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
  • Maintain and clean ambulance equipment and vehicles
  • Participate in continuous training and education to stay current on medical advancements
Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a paramedic in the state of South Dakota
  • CPR and ACLS certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
