Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Estimator to lead our estimating department and drive success in every bid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all estimating operations, mentoring a talented team, and shaping the future of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enforce industry-leading estimating processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor and manage a team of estimators, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting cross-training and career growth.
  • Coordinate with other departments to enhance efficiency and develop winning strategies.
  • Oversee key decision-making and value engineering strategies to ensure competitive pricing and optimal solutions.
  • Manage the company bid schedule and review cost elements of bids to ensure timely submission and compliance.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain top estimating talent to drive success in every bid.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, architecture, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software (HCSS Heavy Bid, Agtek, Blue Beam, P6, Office 365 suite).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Valid US driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
