Job Description

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nutrition and experience working with patients to develop personalized nutrition plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and follow-ups, using evidence-based practice, to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop effective interventions.
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families, focusing on general nutrition, weight loss, and weight gain.
  • Collaborate with nursing and physician teams to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Document patient assessments, goals, and interventions in the medical record.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian credential (Commission on Dietetic Registration)
  • Experience providing general nutrition interventions, including weight loss, weight gain, and food intolerances
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with electronic charting systems
