Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality RN care in post-acute facilities.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and residents to develop care plans.
  • Track outcomes and review options with physicians and other nursing staff.
  • Administer and supervise appropriate treatments and medications to residents.
  • Ensure medical equipment is properly set up and monitored.
  • Inform residents and family members about best care options.
  • Draw blood, urine, and other fluids for lab work.
  • Ensure staff compliance with facility policies and nursing standards.
  • Verify accurate documentation of medical histories and interventions.
  • Supervise nurses and support staff, providing training as needed.
  • Be accountable for following and adhering to resident care plans.
  • Assist with incident investigations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current Connecticut state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Successful completion of an approved nursing program.
  • Advanced organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience (RN or similar role).
